[JusticeInfo.net] On 28 May, Germany acknowledged that it committed genocide against the Herero and Namas peoples in Namibia between 1904 and 1908. Germany and Namibia signed an agreement that includes the payment of 1.1 billion euros over 30 years for development projects. But an agreement between states is not a decolonisation of relations between peoples, warn political scientists Reinhart Kössler and Henning Melber.
